I should probably mention that Tracie has a blog.

Jon Stewart

When we got to New York on Thursday I told Tracie that the one celebrity I would love to see was Jon Stewart. I think I would list him as a personal hero. Knowing that the "apartment" we rented was half a block from Jon's $5.8 million penthouse, it didn't seem too far-fetched. However, short of camping outside his building (I didn't), the odds are pretty low.

Sunday before our flight, we walked down to Bubby's, a place Cory introduced us to a couple years ago when we were in Manhattan, for brunch. As soon as I walked in, only seeing his hair, I immediately recognized Jon Stewart. We were seated a few tables away where I was able to glance over every now and then and see him eat (OK, maybe I am obsessed). He was with his wife, 2 kids, and another woman I assume is the nanny. I even heard his laugh a couple times over the crowd. So exciting.

So, without further adieu, here is a picture of Tracie with Jon Stewart.

And fyi, the woman standing next to him is his wife, Tracey.
